I Have A Random Story To Tell

We agreed to meet and drink and I know that he wasn't supposed to drink because of his medical appointment but he should have told me sooner that he can't make it. I waited the whole night for him and for his texts but no. Nothing came. So I ended everything up with him. Is that right?
