It seems very draining to try to make friends these days

people have agendas or they're stuck on their phones, not even listening to u, most ppl are flaky.
It was easier to make friends as a child, because we all had our innocence, no preconceived ideas about a person, we were more trusting and open to making friends, i remember those days. It was great! Until middle school years came, and ppl started to become fake, succumbing to the false identity, just another layer of narcissism, and they're no longer the person they were. I know ppl change overtime but they seem to change for the worse.
