It has turned to a great deal of sludge for many reasons. People find the internet a fast way to vent, to rant, to express their frustration and anger and all their emotions. This is easier than talking it out or writing or any other way.So people like the easy way. Most of them do. You have to pick what you read and what you participate in. Spend more time with the people here who care about you and who love you. You know the ones. Never forget who you are and how important you are. Love to you.

I hear ya kodi....If I had not started ignoring all that stuff which you perfectly describe above, I wouldn't have lasted the few months I've been a user of the site since April of 2020..

But, thankfully I have come to ignore it in order to keep myself from leaving.

Consequently, it has been quite the privilege to meet folks like yourself, @Rutterman, @Vivaci, @SW-User, @luctoretemergo, @Stereoguy, @Niloo, and last but in no way least, @Soossie...just to name a few.

All of you make the site a pleasure in more ways than one.

Blocking is looked down on by some - but why should I be darkly touched by the vicious, the gloom-and-doomers and the cruel? The reason some come here is because nobody irl will listen to the garbage they spew. Neither will I.

I often think about disconnecting from the internet and moving out into the woods, just away from everyone. It's taking a toll on me, as well.

This place sucked from the start people just didn't want to see it because it was replacing the beloved Experience Project people need to understand that all sites like these are doomed to the same fate they start out hot get consumed by garbage then fade into oblivion
