Sometimes hostility yes!
Other times, an attempt to guide/advice me, which 99% fails..
When I am at my best, they want to get me like I'm honey and they're on drugs.

@being there are always a number of folks, who for one reason or the other often unobvious, that cause that sense of otherness, that makes one feel unwelcomed or even feared. it may be as simple as being a bit smarter than most, or having a rare body chemistry. one that can signal both "outsider" and also "desirable genetic stock". you could have a neuro-atypicality, that makes you "feel different" or even some unique facial geometry, the golden mean or something.
I fit in this "other" minority as well
