I Battle Depression and Anxiety

The anxiety has been popping up a bit more frequently lately. Sometimes I'll go months without incident. Other times I spend weeks trying to shake it. I'm planning a couple of major life changes, which is most likely the root cause. It's time to get unpack all of the relaxation techniques. I feel I'm going to need them in the coming weeks.
I'm not sure unpacking all the relaxation techniques is the answer, not that relaxation isn't a good thing. I think you're onto something with planning a couple of major life changes. But maybe diving straight into the issues, rather than spending time trying to shake the anxiety and depression, would be the more productive way to go, even though it's more uncomfortable for a while.

@PhoenixPhail I need the relaxation strategies for the day-to-day stuff. I'm a single mom with a very demanding job. Daily stress builds quickly, and if I don't combat it as it comes, I'll eventually break. I deal with the issues every day. There's just more intensity now than the usual fare.
