I Am Afraid I Will Disappear One Day

Forgotten... She was walking through a field. The sun was shining and the sky was clear. Everything was full of laughter. Without warning, the girl felt something tug on her foot. Slowly it worked its way up her leg. She looked down and she was sinking into a pool of quick sand. The girl watched as the sand tugged forcefully at her flesh. Slowly it worked its way up to her waist, and over her abdomen. The girl goes to scream. She screams with every amount of strength she has in her body, but it isn't enough. The quick sand is pulling her in faster than she can bl<x>ink. No one is around to pull her out of the ground and within seconds, the girl's mouth fills with sand, and she disappears into the ground.
