I Have Alot of Sadness In My Heart

I woke up to a phone call very early Monday morning to find out my mom had passed away. This isn't a sympathy post because we ALL have to deal with it at some point in life. I had talked to her just the night before on the phone to see if she needed anything and what she said back was so typical of her. She said no Chris, i don't need anything i'm just happy you called. She had been very sick for months and we all knew her time on earth was limited but it doesn't make it any easier.

I don't live in fear BUT if you have your mom, dad or both still with you tell them you love them everyday, because you just never know. 😢

I am sorry for your loss. I remember when my grandmother broke her hip and was in the hospital. I was 3 states away and I called and told her I would come back to see her on the weekend. She told me I was so nice...My sister called me the next morning to tell me she was gone. I have felt guilty about not going right away ever since and that was over 20 years ago. Death is a bitch for those of us left behind and as we get older it becomes more and more familiar. Again, sorry for your loss.
