I Have Alot of Sadness In My Heart

Gonna graduate soon. Have no friends. Family doesn't care about me. Mom wants to throw me a party. For what? I don't have friends and only see family on holidays so I don't really care to see them for graduation. What are we gonna talk about? Thanksgiving? That was the last time I have and will have seen them...

Plus I'm introverted and do not like talking about myself. Gonna be a repeat of highschool graduation. Graduated and came home.

😓

Can you tell her you’d rather just go out to dinner to celebrate instead of having a party? And get a cake!🎂😁

@Bean17 Perhaps... I don't want them to come.

Tell her you just want dinner, the gifts (preferably money💰), and a cake.😅@rosyhills

It is understandable that you don't have a ton of friends, you have concentrated on school and that is a good thing. Being introverted is the best actually, for getting studies over with, there is less distractions. You will change over time, the more you are around groups, they will make you miserable at first but eventually you will be more relaxed in crowds. It takes work, just like your studies did, just think of it as an assignment.
Rent The Graduate and watch it. You'll feel better.

@Mamapolo2016 never heard of it. its probably depressing
It's funny/depressing. Like life, sometimes.
I am sooooo old. Dustin Hoffman is the graduate. HIS folks give him a party to which they invite all THEIR friends. They make him try on the scuba gear they got him for a graduation present. Then he has an affair with the mother of the girl he loves.

@Mamapolo2016 I know, it took a while for me to believe Bill Cosby was guilty but a lot less time for the rest. Power corrupts and I think there was an attitude, especially in Hollywood, that it was okay. They thought it was business as usual but it finally caught up to them.
Yes, and that's terrific. And at our age, you and I have seen a lot of it, if on a lesser scale (maybe). It's about time. I am a bit afraid that we have accepted the idea this is a solely Hollywood rot, and that's far from the truth.

@Mamapolo2016 It is in business, politics and anywhere the big and powerful can exert control

I didn't have many friends and I also only see my family on the holidays so I didn't even have a graduation party. I'm very introverted too. I just told my parents not to throw me a party.

Time to move out and live on your own. Maybe live with a hot lover like me.
You should enjoy yourself
