Time for the Name Drop

Have you ever met someone famous? I've met a few. I'm not talking going to a concert... most have done that. Something unique... like, I once handed a microphone to Mikhail Gorbachev. It was a pretty big deal, because it was not too long after the cold war. I grew up thinking he was public enemy number one 😅 I'm just curious about what other people have experienced 😊

Forever ago when i was 18 my boyfriend (who was 24) took me to meet friends of his in Liverpool. One of the guys was a session musician who had played with a number bands and the other a record producer i had heard of. We watched ' Pop Quiz' on tv and i got more questions right than them. Lol.
I once got talking to a woman in the loo at a gig and we walk back into the hall together. Quite coinsidentally, our fellas were talking to each other. Her husband was Ian McCulloch of Echo and the Bunnymen. He knew my bf through some dodgy pals.....lol.
