Time for the Name Drop

Have you ever met someone famous? I've met a few. I'm not talking going to a concert... most have done that. Something unique... like, I once handed a microphone to Mikhail Gorbachev. It was a pretty big deal, because it was not too long after the cold war. I grew up thinking he was public enemy number one 😅 I'm just curious about what other people have experienced 😊

I was part of a small group who chatted with and shook hands with Ed Mitchell, who landed on the Moon on Apollo 14. We were college students who were recipients of a scholarship from Grumman Aerospace, who built the lunar landers. We had summer jobs at the company. He came to visit that summer.
