I Listen To Motley Crue

These guys are one of those bands that are pretty hit-or-miss for me. Some of their songs I really enjoy while others I can't stand! I think the content of a lot of their songs really dictated the quality of them. For example songs like "Shout at the Devil" and "Wild Side" that explore provocative themes of the occult and ghetto life respectively and are damn good songs! Then you have songs like "Girls, Girls, Girls" and "Smokin' in the Boys Room" that are typical guy songs, if you will, and are really lacking in substance (I know the latter's a cover and all but still). That's just my take on them anyway. All in all, I'd say they were pretty decent for being part of the plethora of bland, generic hair metal bands that plagued the '80s.

I liked Guns N' Roses the best although I think they were more bluesy/hard rock than hair metal

@Insomniac100 GnR are good. It's just I've heard their songs so many times that I'm just tired of hearing them, lol. But that's what happens when you only release five albums and then stop making music for 15 years.
@Carver LoL 😂 I wish they never broke up... Cause apparently axl rose spend the rest of the90s hiding away in his mansion until releasing whatever album he did 15 years later

@Insomniac100 Yep. While the other members went on to lead their own successful and prolific careers the whole time. Tsk, tsk.
I liked a bit harder anyways. Metallica, Black Sabath, AC/DC, & Iron Maiden were my go to’s in the late 80’s. 🤘
