I Need to Get Something Off My Chest

Sometimes I hate that he'll never miss me.
But he'll never miss anyone.
At least not the real 'them'.
It would be some grandiose, idyllic, memory of what he wanted that person to be.
I'm not sure he ever took the time to figure out who any of us are.
