How much do you plan / prepare for the future?

vetguy1991 · 51-55, M
A decent amount
AnthroKenji · 36-40, M
I see where I am. I see where I want to go. I start walking. That’s literally my plan. Adjust direction check the compass as needed. Metaphorical of course.
At the moment, most of my time is directed towards that goal.
I've reached an age, and a crisis with my finances, which means my husband's and my present lifestyle is no longer affordable.
We are about to sell up, down-sze, and reorganise everything.
I am changing what I do, writing a Will and writing an Advanced Health Directive.
We're preparing for our old age and future deaths.
I made one sandwich for now and one for 10min after i eat the first one.

Very little. I generally try to make decisions that will benefit me in the long run but I don't actively plan things out step by step. Less disappointment if things don't work out.

I make plans and then they completely go wrong and then I keep going without a plan until I make a new one
And then something happens to that one
And the cycle repeats until I die

A lot lately, I am really trying to get everything in place so I can relocate and start living the life I want

Most of them I failed miserably. I don't like to plan anything specific anymore.

Aww hell, I plan ahead too much, it’s problematic sometimes 😖

Outside of saving, not much. I prefer to live in the "here and now".

I always have a vague plan. I know what my goals are and I work towards them. I don't like to get too specific though.
