I Am In High School
A lot of you who know me know that I work one day a week as a teaching assistant in my old school. And that our school is in a rural part of Wales and is 3-18. I have been working in school throughout the outbreak of the virus. The children of hospital workers attend school 8 til 6 every day including school holidays. With older sisters working in the hospital next door I am glad to do my bit. Kirsty Williams, the Minister of Education, has said that all schools and colleges will open again on 29th June. I am so pleased in many ways. We have four weeks in school of everyone being back though the school will not be the same. Start and finish times will be staggered. I don’t suppose lunch hour will be the same! Just now lunch is brought to the children in their classrooms. And I’m in college and I had been worried maybe we wouldn’t even be allowed back in September. I miss my friends! And my work. Well I do work at home though it’s difficult in practical subjects like jewellery and ceramics.
