Yes. Some places call it blooming onion and others call it onion blossom. Whatever they call it, I call it delicious.

@AquaAnn123: yummy onion blossoms/blooming onions. And sweet potato fries. I don't know if they are where I got the stuffed, breaded, deep fried, portobello mushrooms, but somewhere I had them and they were worth going back for,,but I can't go back because I no longer live near an outback, and I don't know anywhere else it might have been.
