My grandmothers birthday was yesterday.. it’s been nearly 4 months since she passed..
But my grandfather who is also nearing his final years has women running up to him for marriage.. it’s not about companionship.. they label it that way.. but they simply believe they will outlive him and inherit more for THEIR family.. and take away from what is naturally supposed to pass on from ones own house..
They believe that guising themselves as a Phoenix they will prosper.. Their true colors are that of a vulture..
I’m sure there may be some other alternatives they do it for as well.. the drama of their small circles.. feeling special.. feeling like someone loves “Them” again.. but it has absolutely nothing about them giving love back..
In love you would never put that kind of pressure on someone who just lost someone they loved so recently.. Their intentions are obvious.. there’s nothing comforting about them.. there’s nothing peaceful they’re offering him.. they make it so readily apparent what the plans running through their minds are..
If all it was about was finding love they’d be on a dating site already getting dates.. Not trying to pressure a newly widowed man.. nearing his nineties.. I wanna smack some hoes..
