I Have Plantar Fasciitis

Ever have Plantar Fascitis in your foot. I’ve had mine since mid December. It’s extremely painful to walk. I’ve seen doing everything the Podiatrist has told me and it’s still not any better. Any suggestions?

Hi, my friend. Try this: take a hard plastic ball (I use a ball hockey one) and roll it back and forth under your foot. A water bottle that is frozen also helps. That is the best thing. I don't know what caused yours. Mine was a combination of competitive soccer and being on my feet for 12 hour shifts. I stopped soccer. Reduced my hours. Elevated them as much as possible. I no longer have plantar fascitis. Orthopedic insoles/shoes help, but are quite expensive. Some work plans cover them.

@PoetryNEmotion Hi there. Yeah I have been doing the ball roll with a tennis ball. Thanks for your advisement. I will give it a try.
@clamenza The iced bottle works best. Good luck.

@PoetryNEmotion Sounds good. Definitely trying it right now👌
@clamenza I think the key is to do this frequently during the daylight hours. The stretching of the sole and the foot along with the ice is this solution. It took a few months for me. I still miss the soccer.

@PoetryNEmotion I bet. I miss just walking the dogs. What a pain in the butt😁I ‘m willing to try anything at this point
@clamenza Yes, it isn't fun hobbling around in constant pain.
