I Am Aware Of Politics And Keep Up With What Is Going On

honestly i don't want trump nor Hillary ( i know they're not inevitable yet but it's looking that way i don't want sanders either.) unlike many of the people running i have read the constitution. ill be convincing people to vote Gary Johnson. i'd love to hear people respectfully disagreeing with me as long as your supported by facts

not it shows the old saying is spot on that money talks it is wrong in my view it should have no bearing in a campaign just genuine hard policies but that's politics like it or not

And I won't abstain from voting, because there is one candidate whom I prefer far less than the other, more because of their history, than their policies.

I actually like the libertarian movement. Unfortunately, they don't stand a chance against the political money machines.

i know but im sure as heck signing the petition to let Gary Johnson be on the ballot

doomsdaysmomres i live in a republic where my vote doesn't mattter and im happy to be that way. i leave up choosing my president (who doesn't/shouldn't represent me in any way) to the electoral college. whom i also don't chose
Doomsdaysmores · 41-45, M
@sadie210 while I agree with your statement to a certain extent, the popular vote within a state does affect how the electoral college awards those votes from your state.

well I think in your case you are rather caught between a rock and a hard place if you like neither candidates it sounds like you may have to abstain from voting
sadie210 · F
only in some states and in those states the laws saying that must be the case must be repealed! and lets get rid of the 17th amendment too!
Doomsdaysmores · 41-45, M
Unfortunately if a vote is going to actually make a difference it's a choice between a socialist and an oligarchist. Not much of a choice.
sadie210 · F
i couldn't stand the idiots id be running against and if i won the stress would ruin my complexion! lol
Doomsdaysmores · 41-45, M
Money talks in politics because those with money can reach more ears. Sadly this is a fact of life.

fair comment that choice is between you and your conscience
Doomsdaysmores · 41-45, M
Exactly. Do I choose the one I don't trust or the one I can trust to do the wrong thing?
smiler2012 · 56-60
lol shame it is a bit late now but you should of ran for office [only kidding ]
Silverwings · 61-69, F
I think if everybody believes that our vote does not count, it is all over but the crying.
sadie210 · F
ted cruz was a terrible canidate. your vote for president shouldn't count.
Doomsdaysmores · 41-45, M
While we're at it, let's get rid of the 14th amendment
smiler2012 · 56-60
lol yes in the case of numpty trump you are right
Silverwings · 61-69, F
Ted Cruz was the right choice.
