A person once asked knowing I've had many relationships, "How can I just leave and move on without feeling the emotional loss".

My answer,"Because, when I give to a relationship I'll give All of myself Now and Today, so there will be no regrets".

It takes a little cool down time for me😡😠

And once I've had the chance to....I can make better decisions

I've done both
I've said fuck it...
walked and never looked back

And i have overlooked and moved on...always a little more cautious though

I pretend they are dead and move on.
@Keepitsimple rather than pretend there is so much more satisfaction in actually killing them

@saragoodtimes in my mind I kill them 50 different ways 😉.

As a younger man I would get angry. Just not worth it now. Move on.

@Degbeme Same.

I’m not great with forgiveness but I also don’t think everyone who hurts me is evil. I’m more likely to move on by finding a way to take responsibility myself for being hurt 🤷‍♀️

People have issues. I don't think most people set out to hurt people on purpose. I might feel angry for a while but if I don't let that shit go then its only me who's going to suffer.

Yeah I’ve gone through every emotion ending my marriage, I was angry for a bit but now I’m fine, feel at peace and in a better place emotionally.

Forgiving is about as easy as picking up the Rock of Gibraltar and throwing it all the way to Neptune. How do you do it?
Forget about toxic people and never think of them ever again.

A combination of both I guess , some individuals you can’t forgive after multiple chances , but I forgive most easily with time or with good reason , life Is short
