I Love Running

I love the outdoors and ive recently got into running, for skinny purposes to begin with and now because its a nice high. Tracked my 10k this morning and it took me 1 hour 4 minutes, tips please!

That's pretty far for someone just getting (back?) into running. I just resumed running a few days ago and I'm taking cautious baby steps myself (concerned about straining or overexerting after a half-year hiatus).
I'm guessing we run a bit differently (as if it matters). Do you ever throw sprints into the mix?

@SW-User I guess ive been exercising/jogging for about 2 years on and off. Only recently have i actually pushed myself to run and see what i could do. I mostly just jog/run though, ive been told the benefits of sprint and weight training but im a little slack since im generally weak I lack the motivation to do things im not great at.

Whats making you get back into it ?

@graciee I see. That's more regular running/jogging generally than I've done in a while, at least for a few years... I'm getting back into it for energy release/relaxation. It's soothing afterwards, all day feeling calm, grounded, and more alert+clear mentally. All the things to chemicals and hormones that a little exercise does... also, when feeling anxiety or panic attacks I find running can be like medicine.
