I Have a Controlling Boyfriend

Wow, so now I’m not even allowed to watch the show I like. Lol
I was watching bad girls club and he came and turned the tv off and walked back out of the room. It’s ridiculous because I only watch it when he’s working, I know he doesn’t like it so I’m respectful about turning it off when he enters the room.
But now he won’t even allow it in his house. Lol what a control freak!

Sadly this kind of behaviour is common and if your in a relationship with someone controlling, it usually just gets worse the longer it goes on or the deeper you commit. You find that if you go out he's telling you to be home by 10pm even though he's out all night, then he wants to know everyone you've spoken to. The list goes on. I'd wait until he's watching sport then go and turn the TV off on him and walk out. If he isn't equally respectful of that, then it's time to explain too him how tolerance and compromise in an equal relationship works.
