I believe God intended it to spread the Gospel!

@Carazaa I think God would be disgusted by most of what goes on in social media. Pretty sure the gospel was intended to be spread on foot. Online, things are difficult to explain, tone and context get lost. This is the absolute worst way to spread any sort of gospel message.

@WanderingThrough Not at all. Jesus died for the world sins because he loves us! I testify he answers all my prayers. He helps me.
WanderingThrough · 31-35, F
@Carazaa Okay, that has nothing to do with what I said.
Carazaa · F
@WanderingThrough I agree that Satan is roaming even on the internet and people get deceived, but God IS spreading the gospel through the net!
WanderingThrough · 31-35, F
@Carazaa I still maintain that it is ineffective as emotion and context are easily lost online. Every time I’ve seen someone attempt that here, it’s ended badly.
Carazaa · F
@WanderingThrough We sow seeds. Some countries don't allow missionaries. We are in the end times and some people have no friends, never go to church because they are isolated but can hear the word of God on the radio or read it here.
God says that

"My word will not return void"

Every single Bible verse here is sowing a seed. God says his word is a sword that pierces the heart. But I respect your opinion and I too believe that there are other ways too to spread the word of God. We shine the brightest where it is the darkest!
WanderingThrough · 31-35, F
@Carazaa I do agree with that to a degree but you are also using that verse out of context, it’s not a blanket statement to say however the gospel is presented is fine. It’s foolish to think that way. So many people do a terrible job at presenting the gospel and NO seeds are planted in that. Hearts are hardened in those situations. People have to think and still present things in a kind and loving, but also firm matter. Be careful how you use verses, it’s easy to take them out of context to suit yourself and that it dangerous territory.
Carazaa · F
@WanderingThrough I disagree. Gods word will go out no matter what we do! God is the one who changes hearts not us!
WanderingThrough · 31-35, F
@Carazaa I agree that God is the only one who changes hearts but you are still using that verse out of context. You can’t just take a single verse out and use it without considering the verses that surround it.
Carazaa · F
@WanderingThrough You are not going to stop me from witnessing. Shame on you for discouraging Christians from witnessing on the internet! God warned us from people like you!
WanderingThrough · 31-35, F
@Carazaa That isn’t what I did at all, calm down! I’m telling you that you’re taking a verse out of context, how did you interpret that as me stopping you from witnessing? This is a perfect example of why the internet isn’t the place to communicate this stuff because look at what you’ve just said. ‘People like you’ , that’s a beautiful testimony of your faith to any unbeliever who reads this.
Carazaa · F
@WanderingThroughPlease don't ever contact me again or I will report you!
WanderingThrough · 31-35, F
@Carazaa Beautiful display of your faith! God is proud of you. I’m actually amazed how wildly out of proportion you’ve taken this. I’ve not been trying to argue with you, I’ve been trying to express my viewpoint on how this in an ineffective way to spread the gospel and you’ve gone and proved my point by how you’ve reacted to me. I’m here, trying to have reasonable dialogue with you, but you can’t see my intent or tone because it’s written in black and white.
InvisibleGirl · 18-21, F
@Carazaa Yeah, I think it can rarely be used in a positive way like that. This whole thread clearly shows how that doesn’t work because I’m not seeing things the same way you are. I liked what you had to say, but wish I saw more of the love of Christ in this. But maybe your gospel is different than mine.
Carazaa · F
@InvisibleGirl

Yes I think we have a different Gospel. One of your groups is you hate people, that is not my Jesus, but I love you anyway. I am here to help people and witness the love of God to people. Some people don't like that and are harassing me to stop. But God says His word will go out, and accomplish much!
InvisibleGirl · 18-21, F
@Carazaa I don’t actually hate anyone, you don’t know the reasons why I joined groups. When I join a group that says ‘I hate people who...’ I mean I hate the thing people do, not the person. I’m also 16, so show a bit of grace please. Maybe your God doesn’t allow for grace? You’re not helping anyone by your attitude. You come across on this thread as rude and threatening. I don’t see anything here that told you to stop sharing the gospel, no one here is saying or has said that. All I see is that someone has a different opinion than you on how effective it is online. That’s ok. Keep doing your thing, but you should be able to respect that people aren’t going to agree 100% on everything and something as trivial as this, that has no bearing on salvation, really should not push you to the place to be as rude as you were. I know the God I serve would be disappointed in how you just shoved a person away like that. You basically told her she’s not worth your time, that’s not the God I know.
