@monte3 People my mom’s age talk about party lines. Seems like a fun thing! I love rotary phones, one of my aunties had one for the longest time. I totally agree with you.
We have an old play rotary phone in the toy box for the Grandkids, it hilarious they have no idea what it is. And I am old enough to personally remember party lines. The joy of listening in on other people’s conversations.
@monte3 We had to keep butting in cause a couple housewives tied them up all day taking about their soaps I just wanted to call grandma and tell her Mom was trying to kill me again

@rckt148 The old phones were so much fun, I would put shaving cream or whipped cream on the ear piece than call the person from a different phone........you wouldn't believe the words.
