I Don't Want My Life To Be Meaningless
But it is. My life has absolutely no point. I'm not contributing to this world in any way, I'm just making it more crowded. Meh.

@notmyfaultyourenotoriginal There is absolutely no way you can know that you don't influence anyone on SW and in life offline as well. We all influence people we come in contact with. Just because people might not say anything doesn't mean you don't affect their life.
When I see this post you affect me in 2 ways. First the fact that you are concerned about contributing to the world, and your desire to want to make a difference, gives me hope because I see a lot of people your age who miss that in a big way. They just want to consume. And it gives me hope that you are out there and that you really want to do something great.
Secondly it makes me a little sad to read this comment of you & that you think you're life has no point. I don't know you - so what should I care right? But I do. I have a good intuition about people, I'm rarely wrong with my first impression. When I look at your posts and replies to people, I see a young woman with a lot of promise and potential. You're smart and you ask thoughtful questions. You make people think. I know you will find your calling.
This world needs a lot more people like you! People who want to come into action and change the world. Steven Hawking and Bill Gates have most of their lives behind them. Don't compare your beginning to their middle or end. They hadn't done much when they were your age and who's to say you won't have achieved more than them by the time you're their age?
If you believe God has a plan for your life then ask him to show you the way. And He will! Trust in Him and you can't go wrong. Believe me He will... I speak from experience.
I hope you will soon see how you do affect others. It's young people with a desire like you have that go on to change the world. You're going to do great things!
