Do u think older women, around 50, look better in short or long hair. Does long hair make them look younger?

A big part of your answer is how the hair long or short profiles the face and flows with the body. I normally like woman with long hair no matter the age. However sometimes, like this red head I saw the other day, short, feathered/layered down to about 2 inches above her shoulders, It was cute, it looked very pretty on her.
I do think long hair makes women look younger.
