I Think God Is An Awesome God

I believe in God still but after leaving Islam, I don't know which other religion to follow. I know there's a mysterious being somewhere in this world, I have personally felt him. I'm content he is happy with me after leaving Islam.I can still feel the love of God. I will take time before deciding any other faith. If I'm content in this state, why look further. I feel alot of weight has been lifted, I feel free both body and mind. Although I don't have the right to ask anyone leave their religion, I can testify that some people only stay because of fear. There's nothing to fear.

I'm so glad you did. That took bravery. I am really a lot like you. I believe in God but I'm not sure about my religion. I personally cannot believe that God would condemn somebody and say it's ok to kill in the name of religion. I think he personally cares about each and everyone of us. He doesn't want to see us kill each other. We are his children. Why would he want us to kill each other.

@Exhibiter100000 You are absolutely right! God created us all not just some of us,so why should God tell some of his children to kill others of his children because they have differeent views and beliefs.God has no favourites.Man does horrific things in the name of God and so betray God every time they do such things.And don't forget there are forces of evil that attempt to destroy our concept of God and those forces are called religions and those who lead those religions give themselves the authority to use them to fulfil their own agenda.They are robbing humanity of its freedom and its light.
