This should be the same for heterosexual people of course, if someone is gay respect that person's sexuality. Don't try and change them

Well, no one can "convert" anyone, right? We are who we are. But yeah. I've had men go with the "You just don't know it" thing before. And it kind of fires me up and I have zero problem with telling them why. Actually became a really close friend of someone who pulled that. Ended up being the best man in my wedding. Just had to get past the nonsense.
