So this is something id like to talk about. Dogs in cars... what is appropriate and what isnt?

I bring this up as i had an encounter with a lady a "do-gooder" if you will.
Try to make a scene about my dog briefly being in my car by itself.

I had literally just ran into my mothers to give her flowers and left my dog in the car. Not even 10 minutes. Of course the windows were open a bit and i was parked in the shade.

Well this lady walking by gets all bent out of shape about it and starts giving my mothers bf grief about the dog in the car. My dog was barking cause well she is a chihuahua and hates being left behind for any amount of time.

I could understand her concern if she had been there watching and it had been a significant amount of time and i was parked in the sun or what not, but honestly she didnt assess the situation appropriately before deciding OMG that poor dog. How dare it be left in a car.

Like im sorry would you prefer I leave it locked in the house by itself for hours on end? Like no. My dog is coming with me so she isnt alone for long.

Just grinded my gears.

I could completely understand in a different scenerio. But in this case the scene she tried to cause was not appropriate.

Also my dog does not get along well with my mothers dogs yet so it was better for her to just wait in the car while i zipped in as to not cause a big thing with the other larger dogs at my moms.

But u cant know the whole scenerio from walking by im sorry. The situation needs to be properly assessed before further action is taken.
