I Have Ibs

I don't remember not having IBS. I was officially diagnosed at the age of 16. My life made so much sense. I react to dairy, corn, beans, peas, rye, and random foods. Sometimes grease affects me, other times it doesn't. It sucks. I'm always in pain. I ended up spending 10 hours in the ER one time because of it. The pain was so severe the doctor's believed my appendix was bursting. I was being prepped for surgery when they realized it was an IBS reaction. The doctor told me he'd never seen a case so bad. My current doctor is the same. Same with the gastroenterologist who diagnosed me. IBS is seen as a joke... But try living with it.
