Biologically at least, with more muscle mass in their bodies, men are more physically prepared to defend women, and thousands of years of male social and military leadership and protection cannot be brushed aside by feminist fancy.

You learn much about a man in observing how he behaves, whether he is gobby, or capable as a fighter and protector. While you don't want to judge you have to think about self-preservation in these more violent times and hope he is a capable to protect you.
