Wouldn't you get irritated over time if you kept feeling like you got the short end of the stick? Like if you were trying to do your part of the work but your teammates just don't seem to put in as much effort as you do.

Exactly. That's what I meant. If you find that your partner isn't putting as much effort as you, you're going to be frustrated.
