Is it really that hard to become a nurse?

Has anyone here gone to nursing school in the US? How bad is it? I'm done some work as a medical assistant. I'm thinking about nursing school.

Well, to be an RN in the US is a bachelor's degree program. If you already have a bachelor's degree, the general classes should be waived, which could save you ~2 yrs.

If you had also previously taken chemistry, this could also help with your base knowledge, though retaking it would be preferred (and could be a gentler re-introduction to college courses).

Good luck!
