Is it really that hard to become a nurse?
Has anyone here gone to nursing school in the US? How bad is it? I'm done some work as a medical assistant. I'm thinking about nursing school.

There are 2year and 4 year programs. The 4year programs are a full bachelor's degree, not just nursing courses, but they also cover more nursing courses than a 2year program does.
And, as others have said, there are different levels of nursing.
So, it can be as challenging as you wish it to be.
