Do you ever randomly remember someone from your past and immediately feel angry

For what they put you through
RubySoo · 56-60, F
Yes....i have done that many times. I dont really wish them harm....but sometimes hope domeone will give them a dose of their own medicine.
When i stop being angry.im over it...and it makes no difference at all what happens to them.

Yes, this happened recently when someone tried to friend me on FB. He had played a nasty prank on me about 3 years ago and has never apologized or even gotten in touch. I did not accept his friend request.
I've done that so much. It tells me I have some better aligning to do with my Inner Being.

@PhoenixPhail In the past I'd have acted on it but I don't now
DianaGyana · 31-35, F
@PhoenixPhail we are allowed to be angry...it is part of healing or aligning..seeing what triggers you and what you don't need in your life
@DianaGyana Yes, being angry helps initially as an indicator of where I'm off track. But carrying around that anger year after year, is unhealthy and not only doesn't resolve anything, but serves to make me sick. I need to let the anger go, and focus on things that align me with my true nature.

I do. But I feel more frustrated that I didn't deal with it better.
However on the flip side I'm happy enough they're not in my life anymore. 😁
The jerkwad I beat the fuck out of for cat-calling me and flipping my skirt probably feels that way about me; the feeling is not mutual.

@NightCrawler I always have the urge to message them and tell them how pathetic and deluded they are, but no I'll stay the bigger person

AliceNoctem · 31-35, F
@Keepitsimple Such a relief!

@LittleEvilOne But what good would that do? Your holding onto your anger is only hurting you, not them.

@LittleEvilOne Personally, I don't think anyone deserves to suffer. But your feelings are quite understandable. It's logical you would want someone who hurt you to feel hurt.

Yes then i remember KARMA 😎
AliceNoctem · 31-35, F
@LadyJ I hope it really is a bitch for them
LadyJ · F
@AliceNoctem nobody gets off scot free acting like an idiot karma catches up in the end
@LadyJ Yes. What's coming to them will be their doing, not yours.
TheCoolestCat · 31-35, M
no im not a bitter person who never forgives lol
DianaGyana · 31-35, F
@TheCoolestCat sometimes you need to be angry & remember so you don't lower your boundaries for it to happen again with the same person or someone like that

Yes but I’m working on not being like that. There’s no pleasure in it. There was at first but not now.....
DianaGyana · 31-35, F

AliceNoctem · 31-35, F
@Eddiesolds Lucky
Eddiesolds · 61-69, M
@AliceNoctem I cant dwell on them.Thats all.I hope it goes away for you.
Piper · 61-69, F
I do sometimes think of things someone has done to me or someone I've loved that were just terribly wrong, yes. I try not to, but memories often come unbidden. I do feel a flash of anger about those things, every now and then.
SW-User
Too often for it to be healthy for me...
