I Am Thankful
I found the candy wrapper in time. My 🐻 has diabetes and he had gone to the dollar store behind my back, bought lots of sweet sugary stuff and squirreled it away. But he had dropped a tiny piece of candy wrapper on the floor and I found it and asked a lot of questions.
He knew he had been naughty and had to tell the truth. So within minutes he brought the remaining sweet stuff out of hiding, and he prayed about what to do with it.
I was hoping he'd throw it away, but he gave it to me and I took it to work and shared it with my co-workers. I have a sweet tooth but not that sweet.
Later, a customer gave me $8 in a tip. I rarely get tips, and usually don't get to keep them, but this time the manager told me to keep it and spend it on food.
Well it will pay for 2 bags of reduced almonds, a treat for the 🐻 since he gave up his candy and cookies that he had spent almost exactly that amount on.
