I Am Not Materialistic

I do like nice things, who doesn't? My wife and I are collectors of various things too, we collect things that are of interest to us and most of it has more sentimental value than monetary value. However neither of us is interested in excess, luxury, or extravagance. Even if we were millionaires, we'd be more like the "Beverly Hillbillies" than "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous". To me there are such things as enough and too much.

I feel about the same way. I have what I need and don't need to blow my money on stuff I really don't. I do agree with your statement of enough and too much.

@SW-User That is me/us...most of our possessions are for necessity and things we really know we want, if we don't need it or particularly really want it then we pass it up and don't have it. We won't spend money we don't have on those things either, if we have it we will, but if we don't then we let it go whether it is a "thing" or an "opportunity".

@indyjoe That, I understand. Even though I have the money for more things, I don't need them, so why bother.

@SW-User Exactly. We don't often or always buy something just because we might have the money for it either...sometimes just being able to look at it and admire it without having to possess it is good enough.
