When will the news media
start telling people that most people who test positive for this virus never even get sick, and of the ones who do, most recover fully! All they tell is the negative and that's why we have this mass panic!

No you have the mass panic because your country's leader is trying to convince you to carry on as normal even though things aren't normal !
They're more worried for the economy than they are for their people.
They're more worried for their healthcare system than they are with admitting they don't know enough to be able to give you factual advice.
When government fails to calm it's people panic sets in.
This has been handled very unconvincingly from the get-go and now their original 'plans' are being driven by health and safety concerns which is what they SHOULD have based it on in the first place.

My main source of news is the BBC radio services; and that has been telling us that medical fact all along.
Where I think it does fall short though is in quoting just absolute numbers, without giving the proportions and totals too.
(Usually, journalists fail in the opposite way, by quoting % without the qualifying population numbers: a 50% rise is 50% whether from 4 to 6 or 4000 to 6000, with a difference of 1998; and anyway the total population might be >60 million!

When will people understand you can be a carrier and contagious without ever getting sick? Or that even though most recover, at its current mortality rate this virus could take 2 million American lives alone? Or that THERE'S NO VACCINE and will never be a cure?

It is true that most people recover, but all studies show that asymptomatic infection is extremely rare. Lower than 1.2 percent which is an estimation drawn in china and later on confirmed to include pre-symptomatic phase of patients.
