I Am a Waitress

My Experience:

A year ago I was a complete hermit. I left the house only to go to the shops, but I tried avoiding going all together. That in combination with the anti-social nature of a stoner gave me a rather bad case of social anxiety.

My circumstances changed and I had to start working, so I chose waitressing. I knew the only way to face my fear was to deal with it head on. Despite being a notorious misanthropist, I have the charisma to pull it off. And what better than waitressing to gain confidence and combat social anxiety?
And it worked, on both counts, I'm still not particularly fond of people, but I no longer fear and avoid them.

I have been a waitress for half a year now, and I have come to find that I actually enjoy it. I've been waitressing in bars and pubs and the job can be a lot of fun... If you make it so. And if you take pride in your work, and do it well - you can make a lot of money.
