Rascal, 15 April 2021 to 28 June 2021

My puppy. Suddenly sick yesterday afternoon. Spent night in vet clinic. Parvo. Died at 7AM local time. Took the picture SIX DAYS AGO
Been crying all day. Can't stop. :(

OMG...I am so very sorry. Parvo IS a shitty thing.

How devastating.

I have lost several dogs...one to natural causes, but others to bad things. I will probably use one from natural causes again within the next 6-ish months, I wager.

But every loss hurts and I remember each one.

Take care. I hope you are doing better now, though I am sure you still miss your beautiful puppy.

@mikeylyksit You are more than welcome for a few poor words from a fellow dog-lover.

And I cried *when* I lost them, back when it happened, and *about* losing them, in the present, too.

I am sure that anyone who met Rascal saw his wonderful energy, happiness, etc.; babies, puppies--they are like angels. And I think dogs were meant to show us a lot about how *we* could/should/were intended to be, with respect to love, happiness, etc.

Remember that love. Your heartbreak shows that it was real and that you are actually human in the right ways. 😊😣🤗
