Borrowed Time

You kicked me when I was down,
Controlled me when I was vulnerable, Manipulated me when you had my heart,
Turned your back when I was broken,
Made me live on borrowed time.

You misunderstood me,
Rejected my flaws,
Laughed at my passions,
Laughed away my sorrows,
Isolated me even more,
Made me live on borrowed time.

I was sick, you hated that
I had friends, you hated that
I was alone, you hated that too
You made me hate myself
Let me lived on borrowed time.

I was wrong, to hold you back
You were wrong, to hold me back too
You did nothing right,I did everything wrong
You made me live on borrowed time.

I ought to hate you for what you’ve done
But I couldn’t hate anyone the way I hate myself
You moved on without a blink
While I learned to live on borrowed time.
