I Write As a Form of Therapy
Writing is no stranger to therapy. For years, practitioners have used logs, questionnaires, journals and other writing forms to help people heal from stresses and traumas.
I write because I enjoy it. It gives me a sense of freedom, a way to escape and create a place that’s welcoming & fun. When I’m happy I write, when I’m sad I write and when I want to get away from the world , I write.
But you don’t have to be a professional wordsmith to reap writing’s therapeutic benefits. Best of all, it’s inexpensive , easy and you don’t have to show it to anyone!
