I Write As a Form of Therapy

I want to write. I need to write! I just can't. I'm stuck. I have the thoughts, but when I'm about to start, my mind just goes blank and I feel the pain, the sadness for not being able to let my feelings and thoughts flow. I seriously need to do something about this. I need some inspiration...

Write about your sadness and how difficult it is to write, don't think about it, just let the words flow from your pen. It doesn't need to have correct structure grammar or spelling, it doesn't even need to be legible.. I usually burn mine afterwards

@AlphaPuppy thanks for the advice! I'm quite the perfectionist though and my pieces need to be somewhat acceptable. Love the huskie in your pic 😊

@Petals thank you, give it a try anyway, im a perfectionist with my poetry but I find that the method I told you really helps me ease writers block, and sometimes I can pull pieces from the scrawling's to use as verses and work around that to create something new

I literally use a scrap of paper or an old receipt etc, because its just like scribbling on scrap paper to get your pen ink flowing but for your mind
