I Am Unemployed

Three different company interviews. One I made it to the second round of interviews.

One: "we are going in a different direction"
Second: pass- no reason given.
Third: nothing.

Is there anything more degrading than having to sell yourself and still being told "we don't want you".

At least you were told. I have lost count of the times that in interview I was told , "yes" we are definitely interested in you , only to hear nothing afterwards. You build yourself up thinking you have a good chance , then nothing. It is so deflating .

@Fannyann That happened to me so often as well. "Yes, we are interested and will contact you soon" Never hear from them again. Very demoralising and makes one lose faith in the system.
