I went jogging with my dog years ago, and up ahead there was a guy who was going from mailbox to mailbox, looking inside them.
I was just gonna mind my business and jog past him, but when my dog saw him, she stopped immediately, bristled, and all the hair stood up on her back. She positioned herself in an aggressive stance and would NOT stop growling and barking at the guy. Now this was a dog who I'd had since she was a puppy, who had never been aggressive with [i]anyone[/i] before.
She wouldn't let me go any closer to the man, and he was getting closer to us, mumbling some type of gibberish (Idk if he was on drugs or what). So I had no choice but to turn around and start jogging the other way. It was pretty wild. She never ever reacted like that toward anyone again. I think she was probably protecting me from the guy because he really did seem shady.

@FunkyHat I jog 2 miles a day almost everyday no excuse. I hate lifting weights so I only do cardio exercises. Mainly jogging anyway..
One morning I was running the same street I always run when a car went past me then slowed to a stop ahead of me. Not being completely dumb I just stopped and started walking backwards not taking my eyes of the car. To my absolute horror the car reversed and came back towards me. Preparing myself to have to run in the woods as soon as whoever's in the car decided to get out. I actually burst out laughing when I realized who it was ..Jehovah Witnesses 😅😅😅
One of the kids in the back handed me a pamphlet through the window and shock my hand. Then they just drove off. Like what the hell? I hate littering too so I was stuck with the pamphlet till I got home 😅😅
