I Think Failed Relationships Change People
I was with my ex husband for over 17 years. In that 17 years looking back we never worked on us. Life and our stubborn natures got in the way.
You live and learn. Being married changed me. And being unhappily married changed me even more.
In a new relationship now I know it takes work. But not hard work.
Its all the small things that make love great. Holding hands while your out and about. Kissing just because. I mean deep intense kisses that take your breath away.
Laughing together. Dont let things get so serious. Be weird and love it.
Be yourself. Be confident in your own skin. Cook together. Shower together. Explore new things together.
Take care of them and let them take care of you.
Fight over who loves each other more. Let them win sometimes lol.
Give long massages.
Appreciate them for being in your life and be sure to tell them.
Be thankful and say your sorry.
Be honest and loyal. Learn to trust them.
Lean on them and let them lean on you.
Go for long walks. Get lost in each other.
Explore every inch of them.
Listen to them.
Cry with them and for them.
Take pictures. Be silly. Text them. Spoil them.
Watch them sleep. Travel. Share your dreams and let them share theirs.
Take naps.
Make sure they know whats bothering you, they can't always read your mind.
Make time for them always.
Take time for yourself. Being alone is good for the soul.
Love is amazing.
