I Have Experienced Psychological Abuse

I'm living this reality right now. As he sits across the table from me giving me the silent treatment because I bought groceries and paid the mortgage and he doesn't have enough money to blow on things we don't need. He wants me to present to him proof of every dime I've spent. While it's okay for him to spend $300 a month on his hobby.

If I'm trying to talk to our kids, he turns the TV up to show us that we are bothering him.

If I tell him I don't feel loved, I have to prove that my feelings are valid by providing examples. Which he the. Discounts. Nothing ever gets resolved.

He refuses to talk about his feelings. And yet he refuses to show me any affection. But when I try to leave, he follows me around, pouting as I pack, telling me not to leave.

I feel like I'm losing my mind.

That's rough, I was in an abusive relationship as well and all I can say is sometimes it truly is better to be alone. I am not saying that's what you should do, just that sometimes we stay because we are afraid to be alone and the truth is when you are in a one sided relationship you are already alone. ((hugs)) and strength to you. Stay safe and remember to take care of yourself.

This is not a good relationship. I would recommend you get out of it and move on to find a real man who will love you and take care of you like a real man will.
