I Support All Military Soldiers

We gave you our vibrant, eager young. The ravages, destruction and violence of war stripped away their sheen. You returned them with battle scars seen and unseen for us to pour our best love into and try to restore a glimmer of what once was. Love will prevail.

Unless they snap before love prevails and go on a murder spree, since the military indoctrinates them and turns them into killing machines while supressing their empathy, then when discharging them doesn't de-indoctrinate them, then lets them loose to function in soceity as hardened killers.

@Tatsumi no worries. A friend wrote a dark poem after he heard about a veteran going off the deep end. This was my response to try and fight the dark. There is dark and there is light. Take care.
