I Work In Retail

Have you ever been stuck doing something at work simply because no one else was willing to do it? It happened to me yesterday. A coworker asked me to clean the bathrooms because I did such a good job doing it. I said it had nothing to do with me but was the cleaner I used (which is available to everybody). I then told my male coworker I'd clean the women's while he cleaned the men's. He said, "No. You do a better job than me." He refused to do it. It didn't take me long to do it and wasn't a big deal, but their attitude of "you have to do it because I don't want to and I won't do it" was irritating. Probably from now on I'll have to do it every time I have the closing shift because everyone else refuses and management probably will figure out I at least will do it. End of rant
