Ah, my job requires talking to people, I am an outpatient counselor. I travel to their homes. However I do office out of my own home. I have to go to our office maybe 3 times a month so very little coworker interaction. I love not being involved in office politics.

@Trenchycoat yea I don't mind talking to customers/clients since you see them briefly. But it's the soul sucking coworkers that I can't stand.

Self employment seems like it would suit you more. Start a little online shop or business with a skill or product you can do solo. Its pretty simple and only requires a few hundred investment if that. I went solo 8 years ago and my work life has never been better.

@appassionata can you message me? help me out...
appassionata · 36-40, M
@iamnikki message me a list of your skills. And or relevant abilities. And we can go from there.

@appassionata I thought about being a free lance artist or something like that

There are jobs that don’t require a lot of taking to ppl
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@kate21 I've worked in warehouses. I hate it and other mundane boring work. I'm gonna see if I can find work-from-home jobs. I know of a lady who does this and works for an airlines company

Cool. Medical billing i think is good for that kind of work. @iamnikki

@kate21 I'd have to go back to school.😩 I've been in school so long already and finally graduated this year

I can relate to this so much. I'm not really comfortable with interacting with people sometimes and I don't know what field you're in but customer service jobs are the worst but we need money to survive 😕
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@Chickie Yep, it's retail. The customers aren't so bad. It's the coworkers that don't work, and having to stand all day and no where to 'hide' when you are emotionally drained and tired of it all. That's why I look forward to breaks in my car alone.

@iamnikki I know what you mean I caught pure hell with my last job and nobody wanted to help out. It wasn't until my last few months that they finally warmed up to me.

@Chickie 😩
