I Wonder

I wonder if there are many people feeling they were born in the right country. I love my country, but many times in my life I thought I was born in the wrong place.

I don't agree with the way people meet (usually outside in cafeterias), our daily schedules (we get up,eat and go to bed too late), the high tolerance to noise, the way people prefer to improvise rather than plan...

I find my country is a nice place to live if you behave the way most people do, but otherwise you are likely to be not understood and respected.

I have never felt like I was born in the wrong country until trump became POTUS..

@St0ut where did I assume anything? Your head is up your ass about Hillary. As I said...I do NOT like you, not because of your twisted political views,,,but because I think you are a desperate old man trying to get women in a sneaky way yet oh so transparent...I have been watching you here.... so here is your trophy and buh bye now
Cierzo · M
@Fernie Political views are mutable, there are times we may not agree with those in power, but they do not last forever. My feeling of strangeness has more to do with habits and attitudes I have noticed since I was young, and that very strongly ingrained in our mindset.

@Cierzo What does all of that mean? The crystal clear fact, to people who are AWAKE... is that my country is being run by Hitler incarnate...an unhinged dangerous terrorist mental case.

Individualism reigns supreme in today's society..it's a wonder anyone feels they fit in anywhere..

@ZenKitzune If you at peace with yourself you are at peace with others
ZenKitzune · F
@St0ut not many are at peace with themselves or know how to be. It is something we should be teaching.

I do not like it here too - too much doing without thinking, too much obeying without questioning, too much pragmatism without room for principles or ideals. I find it stifling. And on top of that, I think this world is run too much by extroverts. It seems like there is a constant need to fill a place with noise or a time with activity. Quiet time seems like a 'dead' time which people are made to feel uncomfortable in. I hate it.

@novembermoon I agree 100% with what you say. Too much action, too less thinking about the reasons we act, it is a common disease going on everywhere.

Even though I feel out of place in my own country I think I’ll feel way worse in your country. Maybe I just don’t fit in anywhere 🙄😕

I love America, but I am so reserved , I often wondered if England would have suited me better.
Sssslm · F
Do u have an idea where is suitable for you?
Cierzo · M
@Sssslm I really wonder if such a place exists right now.
Sssslm · F
@Cierzo I agree. The best thing to do is to ignore the unpleasant people and things, accept that they exist but believing that they won't affect you.
St0ut · 51-55, M
What country ?
Cierzo · M
@St0ut Spain.
revenant · F
that was me too !!
